What We Do
As an advocacy organization, the Alliance is leading and supporting voluntary and cooperative efforts to
- Shape attitudes, practices, and policies;
- Promote the establishment of new professional norms, and
- To increase public confidence in the quality of undergraduate education provided by American colleges and universities.
Through its major initiatives - the Presidents' Alliance and Excellent Practice in Student Learning Assessment - the Alliance is advocating for the gathering and reporting of student learning evidence to improve outcomes.
